When it comes to my art, it’s about telling a story. Every part should have meaning and every little space should be filled.
Vielette Ardevela (@vaaamvie) shares her thoughts after finding out that thanks to the community support, one of her NFT’s has been purchased by the LunArt treasury, to be featured in the Curator Club Gallery for everyone to enjoy. “I’m a 23 year old from the Philippines studying Architecture. When I was a kid, I was always fascinated with art but I really lack the courage to try or practice it.”
Vielette, or Vam as she is known by her peers, shares how the extra time available during the pandemic has allowed her to dedicate her time to her craft, catapulting her art to new heights, building up her fanbase and receiving accolades from both the NFT community and competition judges alike. “The longer I divulge myself in, the longer I fell in love with Graphic Design and Digital Arts. I never thought that I would be so passionate in this field”
It is individuals like Vam, with unique stories to tell through their art, that the LunArt Curator Club is eager to support and showcase to the world.
When the vision of the NFT project ‘LunArt’ came to it’s founder Tim (@NameoCeo), he pictured a collection that would draw from the best elements of the NFT-ecosystem, while simultaneously bringing something new to the space. A compilation of digital art that both inspires and impresses with its visuals, while creating underlying value that goes well beyond craft. The tagline “More than just a JPEG” was born.
The goal was to build more into every LunArt NFT. To provide each owner a host of reasons to see value in holding onto their purchase long term. Each NFT from the collection was minted with advantages like monthly “xGIFT” airdrops of UST and LUNA, free NFT’s and access to whitelists and exclusive deals. Even this was not enough for Tim and the team. Being dedicated to continuing to build and create, they continue to add more value every step of the way. One of these inititives is the Curator Club.
The Curator Club is a way of giving back and supporting the digital art and NFT community. It offers members of the space an opportunity to participate in building a unique collection of creations from artists from around the world, while being an avenue for showcasing and promoting previously unknown talent. The greater NFT community is also being supported, with select participation, such as the recent acquisition of an Angel Galactic Punk, received for donating to Angel Protocol during the Restore Earth campaign.
With a total of 2.5% of all LunArt primary and secondary sales revenue being allocated for the Curator Club, the treasury is well funded to build out an impressive collection of one of a kind pieces from creators of all walks of life. As the project grows, LunArt will use its network and established community to shine a spotlight on the artists by sharing their work in front of a greater audience. Engagement is strongly encouraged, while participation will be a key driver in the direction that the collection takes.
With the collective mindset to “Create & Curate”, it is clear that the Curator Club will grow into an incredible gallery selection, thanks to community collaboration and the endless possibilities in the NFT space.
